Supervision

Clinical supervision is available for people in training in the mental health and behavioral health fields, such as practicum students, interns, postdoctoral fellows, and early-career clinicians. It's a collaborative, structured relationship that supports clinical skill development, ethical practice, and professional growth, while protecting the well-being of the clients being served.

Clinical supervision may include:

  • Case consultation and review, including assessment, case conceptualization, diagnosis, and treatment planning

  • Development of skills in evidence-based approaches such as CBT, ACT, DBT, and mindfulness-based interventions

  • Guidance on ethical, legal, and professional standards, including documentation and risk management

  • Attention to cultural humility and diversity in clinical work

  • Support for self-reflection, self-care, and managing the personal impact of clinical work

  • Mentorship on professional identity, career development, and preparing for licensure
